Bets
Every bet, all time, open and closed. Each row reads left to right like an equation: what it cost, what came back, and the result. Every amount is exact.

Fees
What fees took out of your result, where they came from, and how to pay less.

Taking vs. setting a price
Your order matched someone's offer instantly. Kalshi charges a fee on these.
Your limit order waited until someone traded with it. These cost nothing in fees.
Tip: placing a limit order and waiting, instead of buying at the current price, avoided the fee every time here.
Why some bets cost more in fees
Kalshi's fee for taking a price is about 7% × price × (1 − price) for each contract. It's biggest on coin-flip prices and small on long shots and near-sure things:
Examples use the formula. Your actual fees below come from Kalshi's record of each fill.
Fees by bet
Every bet, most fees first. Fees = buy fees + sell fees.

About
How the numbers are calculated
Every bet reads like an equation. Contracts × price = stake; stake + buy fees = cost. Payout − sell fees = net payout. Net payout − cost = profit. Settled bets pay $1 per winning contract (or $0); bets sold early pay contracts × sale price. Open bets show what they'd fetch if sold now at the current bid, and their profit is unrealized.
